Can I give my pets medications made for humans?
While some medications are used for both humans and our pets, the dosages are different. Some human medications have the ability to cause severe illness and even death in our pets. Please consult your veterinarian before using any human medications in your pets.
Should I get pet insurance?
Pet insurance is not required, but pet emergencies can run into the thousands quickly if emergency surgery or 24-hour hospitalization is needed. Having insurance, a credit card, or dedicated savings account for emergencies can make an already stressful emergency even more manageable.
